Children under the age of 18 have the opportunity to draw a picture with the prompt,

"What advice would you give an adult?"

About Story StROLL

Story StROLL is an accessible art exhibition bringing original children's art to downtown neighborhoods. Businesses and organizations select pieces of artwork by local children to display in their windows. Spectators can view the brightly colored original artwork in displayed as window clings

The pilot edition of Story StROLL enjoyed a successful and well-received run in downtown Ada during the summer of 2022. For the inaugural exhibition, area children were invited to submit artworks around the theme of what advice they would give to adults, if they could.

The idea for Story StROLL grew from Cynthia's experiences working with specially challenged children and adults through Care on Canvas. Working with Mary Free Bed as their Artist In Resident has been an eye-opening experience in terms of the importance of bringing art to everyone, so she wanted Story StROLL to be as accessible as possible to allow spectators to stroll or roll through and experience it at their leisure and on their own timetable.

Art will be juried and selected later this summer.
