“The museum may be small, but packs quite the punch with it's local historical artifacts. Recently, the layout of the museum went through a significant overhaul, making it more accessible to travel through Ada's history...I also have to give praise to the museum's hardworking volunteers, who are kind-hearted, generous, and overeager to talk about their hometown's history, and they give exceptional tours.

So whether you already live in Ada or are just passing through, be sure to check out this top-notch local history museum.”

Centennial Properties Program

The Ada Historical Society recognizes homes and commercial buildings 100 years of age and older with a “Centennial Home” or “Centennial Property” exterior historic plaque.  We honor the importance of historic properties and the value they add to our community today. See if you can spot the plaques throughout the village and on homes across Ada Township.  Find photos of all the homes on our Facebook page.
